Biography

Dr. Aminul Islam is a consultant cardiologist with more than eighteen years of clinical practice across Bangladesh’s leading cardiac centres. His day-to-day work covers coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, and the long-term control of hypertension and cholesterol — the conditions that quietly account for most cardiac admissions in the country.

He is known among patients for explaining an ECG or echo report in plain language rather than clinical shorthand, and for adjusting treatment around what a family can realistically sustain. Through Care Bangla he consults both at home and over video, which makes him a practical choice for post-discharge review and for elderly patients for whom a hospital trip is itself a risk.
