In a medical emergency, the difference between calling an ambulance immediately and waiting — hoping symptoms will pass — can be the difference between life and death. Yet across Bangladesh, many families hesitate to call emergency services due to cost concerns, uncertainty about severity, or unfamiliarity with how ambulance services work. Care Bangla's 24/7 ambulance fleet operates across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Khulna, and several other major cities, with both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) units available depending on patient need. The following symptoms should always trigger an immediate ambulance call: chest pain or pressure (especially radiating to the arm or jaw), sudden loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty — use the FAST test), severe difficulty breathing, major trauma or road accident injury, uncontrolled bleeding, suspected poisoning or overdose, seizures lasting more than five minutes, or any life-threatening condition in a newborn or infant.

For non-emergency medical transportation — hospital-to-hospital transfers, post-surgical transfers, dialysis transport, or cancer treatment journeys — Care Bangla's non-emergency ambulance service provides a safer, more comfortable alternative to rickshaws, CNGs, or personal vehicles. Our fleet is fully equipped with oxygen, stretchers, first-aid supplies, and trained paramedics or EMTs on every journey. It is also important to know what NOT to do: do not move a patient with a suspected spinal injury, do not give food or water to an unconscious patient, and do not delay calling for an ambulance while attempting home remedies. Keep Care Bangla's 24-hour ambulance hotline saved in your phone — in an emergency, every second counts and a single call connects you to the nearest available unit.
